It raises boost and re-maps fuel and ignition in three power levels, with quicker spool at every level, so the sled makes boost sooner out of the hole and stops bogging in deep snow.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe three stages are roughly +10, +20 and +40 hp over stock, and the stage you can run is set by fuel: 90 octane for +10 hp, 93 octane for +20 hp, 95 octane for about +25–30 hp and 100 octane for +40 hp. On 2022–2024 sleds the stages are selectable on the factory 7S gauge, so you can run the mild map on pump gas and step up when you have better fuel; 2025 and newer sleds take a single calibration set to the stage you choose. An A2D Patriot Boost clutch kit ($569) is mandatory above Stage 1 and recommended at any level; the kit is calibrated to your stage, and if you already run an A2D kit we recalibrate it at no charge.
