As a rule of thumb:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003e48 and 54 inch\u003c\/strong\u003e — ATVs and mid-size UTVs. Lighter to carry on the front end and easier in tight spots.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003e60 inch\u003c\/strong\u003e — the common choice for a full-size UTV like a Defender or Ranger.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003e66 and 72 inch\u003c\/strong\u003e — wide-stance machines, long driveways, and anyone pushing serious volume.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eSteel or poly?\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSteel scrapes harder and costs less. Poly sheds snow better and won't dent or rust. For gravel driveways and rough ground in Alaska, most of our customers run steel.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWhat else you need\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA blade alone won't plow. A complete setup is \u003cstrong\u003eblade + model-specific plow mount + push tube + winch\u003c\/strong\u003e. Machines with larger tires, a lift kit, forward offset A-arms or tracks also need a leveling kit.
