A2D custom flash — our recommended tune for the Matryx. This is our own calibration for the Polaris 850 Patriot, written and tested by A2D on Alaska snow and loaded into the stock ECU at our Anchorage shop. It fits the 2019–2026 AXYS and Matryx 850 Patriot (RMK, Pro RMK, Khaos, Slash, SKS, Switchback Assault, Indy and VR1) with the stock exhaust or with any pipe, head or big-bore combination we sell.
On a stock sled the flash alone is worth about 3–4 hp, with a cleaner throttle and less plug fouling. It is built for the parts we sell: it stacks with the SLP single pipe set, the SLP Power Dome head and the 900 big-bore, and it is calibrated for the fuel you actually run. Choose the 90-octane calibration for regular Alaska premium, or the 93–95-octane calibration if you run race fuel or a blend. Pair it with the A2D Matryx/AXYS 850 clutch kit ($459) so the extra power turns into track speed; if you already run an A2D kit we recalibrate it for the new power at no charge. Flash labor is included in the price; the sled comes to the Anchorage shop and the calibration is loaded on the bench, normally same day.
Fitment. 2019–2022 Polaris 850 Patriot AXYS (RMK, Pro RMK, SKS, Switchback Assault, Indy, Rush, XCR) and 2022–2026 Polaris 850 Patriot Matryx (RMK, Pro RMK, Khaos, Slash, Switchback Assault, Indy XC/XCR, VR1). Not for the 9R or the Patriot Boost (see the A2D 9R tunes and the A2D Matryx Boost 3-Stage Tune).
