Spare 1/2" chromoly upper rod end for Alternative Impact Ski-Doo Gen4 / Gen5 a-arms. This is the same rod end supplied with the True Clearance arm kits, sold separately so you can carry a spare or fit a single upper arm.
Alternative Impact a-arms mount to the spindle with threaded rod ends rather than pressed ball joints. After an impact the rod end can usually be unscrewed and replaced with a spare, which is why the manufacturer recommends carrying one. The manufacturer states this is not guaranteed but has worked in roughly three out of four cases.
Fitment. Alternative Impact upper a-arms for Ski-Doo Gen4 / Gen5 Summit and Freeride 2017-2027 (True Clearance kits, spindle kits, the 2026 32" upper kit and single upper arms in 32", 34" and 36" stance).
