Silber Turbos' lightweight silencer for the Ski-Doo Gen5 850 E-TEC Turbo R drops the 15-plus-pound factory muffler for a TIG-welded 304 stainless can under 7 lb, with a built-in meal cooker. It is the silencer we use on the factory-turbo Gen5.
Per Silber: just over half the weight of the OEM muffler, a removable powder-coated aluminum heat shield, a flange around the panel that keeps snow and fumes out, and a rich exhaust note that is not intrusive. Works with the stock ECU or a tuned one, so it goes on with the Bikeman Torque Link tune. Silber notes the EGT sensor is re-routed behind the chaincase on install.
Fitment. 2023–2026 Ski-Doo Gen5 Summit X, Summit X with Expert package and Freeride 850 E-TEC Turbo R (and the Lynx Shredder RE 850 Turbo R). Not for the naturally aspirated 850 (see the SLP and MBRP Gen5 silencers).
