SLP's Power Dome billet cylinder head set for the Polaris 850 Patriot (AXYS and Matryx). A billet aluminum head with SLP's combustion chamber design, sold as a complete set for both cylinders, all elevations.

On snow our testing puts the head at 4–5 hp; SLP's figure is 6 hp peak with an additional 5–7 hp in the midrange. It is designed to stay on 91 octane pump fuel with no fuel-management changes, with the stock pipe or an SLP lightweight silencer, and it is the fourth step in our 850 power path after the clutch kit, the SLP single pipe and the A2D custom flash. Pair it with the A2D Matryx/AXYS 850 clutch kit ($459) so the extra power becomes track speed instead of belt heat; if you already run an A2D kit, we recalibrate it for the new power at no charge.

Fitment. 2019–2027 Polaris 850 Patriot: AXYS 2019–2022 and Matryx 2022–2027, all models. Not for the 9R (SLP 12-900) or the Patriot Boost (SLP 12-854).
