Product details
SLP's Power Dome billet cylinder head set for the Polaris 9R Matryx. Billet aluminum with interchangeable combustion chambers for ease of service, sold as a complete set, all elevations.
On snow our testing puts the head at 4–5 hp; SLP's figure is +3 hp on the peak and 4–8 hp in the midrange, with a more consistent, responsive engine. 91 octane compatible. It is the fourth step in our 9R power path after the clutch kit, the SLP single pipe and the A2D 9R flash. Pair it with the A2D 9R clutch kit ($539) so the extra power becomes track speed instead of belt heat; if you already run an A2D kit, we recalibrate it for the new power at no charge.
Fitment. 2023–2027 Polaris 9R Matryx RMK, Pro RMK and Khaos. Not for the 850 Patriot (SLP 12-850) or the Patriot Boost (SLP 12-854).
