Product details
The KFI Pro-S steel plow blade — the blade we fit to most machines that come through the shop. Built from heavy-gauge steel, powder coated, and sized from 48 to 72 inches.
Choosing a width
The blade should be wider than your machine's track so you aren't driving through what you just pushed. As a rule of thumb:
- 48 and 54 inch — ATVs and mid-size UTVs. Lighter to carry on the front end and easier in tight spots.
- 60 inch — the common choice for a full-size UTV like a Defender or Ranger.
- 66 and 72 inch — wide-stance machines, long driveways, and anyone pushing serious volume.
Steel or poly?
Steel scrapes harder and costs less. Poly sheds snow better and won't dent or rust. For gravel driveways and rough ground in Alaska, most of our customers run steel.
What else you need
A blade alone won't plow. A complete setup is blade + model-specific plow mount + push tube + winch. Machines with larger tires, a lift kit, forward offset A-arms or tracks also need a leveling kit. Call us and we'll spec the whole thing against your machine.
Fitment and ordering
KFI and Open Trail are the same blade under two labels. We stock and order whichever is available, at the same price to you. Shipped from Anchorage or installed in-shop — plow and winch installation is 2 hours of labor. Call (907) 306-3062.
Note: 60 inch blades do not include the 2-ply top rubber flap. It is sold separately.
